Ceem brings 13 years of experience in strategic communications and entrepreneurship. She has led the strategy development and implementation across sectors for fast growing online companies, worked closely with start-ups and SMEs to develop their businesses, and in parallel, implemented gender inclusive practices in-house, for example while employed at Deloitte. With her own communications agency –ment (her second entrepreneurial venture), she has advised clients in the financial sector, such as a KSA based VC consulting firm, Chrome Advisory, to elevate awareness of funding allocation and gender bias in the selection process of entrepreneurs. Her current ongoing project with the Center for Inclusive Business & Leadership (CIBL) for Women has recently published the very first sector based research report in the Arab MENA region, the KIP Index, that provides key insights to how women experience their opportunities (or lack thereof) and describe their employment situation, to create more inclusive workplaces. Other clients include Namat, a social enterprise that work for economic empowerment of women in Saudi Arabia.
Ceem is also an appreciated teacher and instructor at the American University of Beirut, and formerly served as an instructor at the Lebanese American University in Public Relations. She is based in Beirut.
