Lena Eriksson Åshuvud
Lena has been active in the financial sector for more than two decades, with long tenors both with SEB in Sweden and with the European Investment Bank, based in Luxembourg and South Africa. Her interest in social and developmental issues started already in her early childhood in Ethiopia. Lena is an alumnae from the Stockholm School of Economics and has studied at the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
Since returning to Sweden in 2009 she combines her financial skills with her interest for social issues in helping organisations and companies innovate in terms of social impact work and the financing thereof. This included leading the team managing Sida’s Innovations Against Poverty programme and advising public and private sector organisations on how to establish social bonds
